Brief:

  • CourierGuy launched, a pickup drop-off locker system designed for fast, affordable and contactless delivery.
  • Introduced during the height of COVID, the product needed to be positioned as a safe, handless, no-interaction solution for everyday South Africans.
  • We were commissioned to create a series of commercials that clearly demonstrated how simple and accessible PUDO is while giving the brand a memorable, relatable voice.

Solution:

  • We created a symbolic, cinematic commercial following a man experiencing the pulse of shifting markets before stepping onto a rooftop overlooking Johannesburg’s CBD.
  • As he raises his hands, the city responds, entire buildings lift upward around him, visualising how the JSE is the force that moves markets and drives growth.
  • The “Make The List” message lands with confidence, positioning the JSE not just as an exchange, but as the catalyst that elevates businesses and the economy.
  • The commercial powerfully reasserted the JSE’s dominance at a critical moment of new competition.
